From Mining to Product Design
What regulation taught me
Before product design, I worked in mining-sector regulation in Mozambique. That work taught me to navigate high-stakes constraints, build trust with skeptical stakeholders, and make decisions with incomplete information. I bring those instincts to the products I design today.
At Rumor Avenue, I design and ship production sites across healthcare, energy, financial services, and professional services. Before that, I spent more than two years as the sole designer at EasyBits, where I built the design function from zero.

Over the past six years, I’ve partnered with teams across Europe, Africa, North America, Latin America, and Asia to ship products people use:
Designed for rural farmers in Africa and Asia at Yara International. FarmCare is a product with 5M+ Google Play downloads.
Built the design function from zero at EasyBits, an AI infrastructure company. Sole designer for 2+ years across five sub-products in regulated industries.
Shipping healthcare, energy, and financial services builds at Rumor Avenue. multiple production sites.
Company/validation context: SmartCourse reached about $10K USD MRR during the validation phase. SmartCourse is a NYC EdTech platform connecting parents of neurodivergent kids with specialists.
Mining-sector regulation in Mozambique for 8+ years. Career foundation in compliance, stakeholder trust, and field operations with low-resource communities.
Three solo products built with AI: djoobar (job application platform), Mahli (multi-currency household finance), and Wundrlst (visa planning workspace).
How I build
I design and build production websites in Webflow and Framer, and I create design systems from real shipped work. I also build AI products solo, using AI throughout strategy, research, design, and development. The goal is not to automate judgment. It is to make the product clearer, more useful, and easier to ship.
I keep feedback loops short. I align on the problem before I start, share work early, and would rather ship something solid this week than something perfect in three.
